These General Terms and Conditions apply for all euroPLX Meetings from euroPLX 41 onward. The Terms and Conditions of euroPLX 40 are laid down in the respective invitation flyer.

euroPLX Meetings are part of a business development consulting concept which was developed by RauCon business development, Kurfürstenstr. 1A, 69234 Dielheim, a management consultancy owned and headed by Dr. Norbert Rau.

euroPLX is a European Union registered trademark and www.raucon.com and www.europlx.com are domains owned by RauCon business development.

Date and Place of Event

euroPLX Meetings take place on the dates and in the conference hotels specified in the printed and PDF version invitation flyers for each particular euroPLX Meeting as well as on www.europlx.com.

Registration and Fee

Registration must be done before or on the registration deadline date as specified in the printed and PDF version invitation flyers for each particular euroPLX Meeting as well as on www.europlx.com.

Along with receiving confirmation and invoice, registrants will be asked to provide non-confidential partnering information (the “Collaboration Interests”) for the particular euroPLX Meeting.

The Regular Registraion Fee is €1,300 (one thousand three hundred EURO). A Very Early Registration Bonus of €400 is granted until 4 months prior, and an Early Registration Bonus of €200 is granted until 2 months prior to the first event date. Additional delegates will pay the same if they choose to request separate one-on-one appintments, or save €200 if all delegates request the same appointments.

Value Added Tax (VAT, presently at 19%) to be added for German customers only.

Fees cover the following services:

1. Pre-meeting: information exchange, match-making, and individual schedule for one-on-one appointments, all co-ordinated by RauCon.
2. Meeting: as outlined in the programme, including Lunch at each of the 2 days, the euroPLX Dinner Buffet, all-day refreshments and the “Collaboration Interests” information as provided by the registrants.

Meeting requests with prospective partners and attendance are restricted to formally registered, pre-paid attendees.

Trainee Programme

euroPLX offers the participation of Trainees in euroPLX Meetings at a reduced registration fee of €500 per Trainee.

For purposes of definition, a trainee is a person who

• is currently being trained in BD&L
• has never attended a euroPLX Meeting before
• will be accompanied by a regular attendee of the same company who will guide the Trainee through jointly attended appointments.

A Trainee will neither receive an individual schedule nor conference documents, nor an accommodation voucher, but will be invited to enjoy all meals and beverages just like a regular registrant.

A company can register only one Trainee at a particular euroPLX Meeting.

Cancellation Policy

First/single Delegate Cancellation Policy: Registration fees are refundable in full if cancellation is received at the RauCon office in writing until two calendar months prior to the first meeting day. Written cancellations received between this date and before one calendar month prior to the first meeting day, inclusive, will be subject to the payment of 50% of the registration fee. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable. Substitutions of registrants from the same company are welcomed anytime.

Transfer-to-Next-Meeting Policy: A transfer of a registration to a next euroPLX Meeting is possible until 4 days before the first day of a meeting and will be charged €200 in compensation for outlay and handling fees between two calendar months and one calendar month prior to the first meeting day, and €300 thereafter.

Multiple Registrations Full Refund Policy: If a company registers more than one attendee, the additional registrants‘ fees will be refunded in full if one or several of the additional registrants should need to cancel their registration until 4 days before the start of the meeting.

Frequent Attendee Full Refund Policy: Registrants who have personally attended three times or more, and at least once during the 12 months preceding the present meeting, may cancel their registration until 4 days before the start of the meeting and be fully refunded.

Right to Reject

RauCon reserves the right to reject a registration if the registrant is not a pharma or biopharma industry executive in charge with business development matters of his/her company, or a broker/consultant with a clear mandate (evidence compulsory).

Hotel Accommodation

For each euroPLX Meeting a block of rooms is reserved which attendees may book at discounted group rates. In addition, each registrant (except trainees) making a room reservation either by email/fax with the euroPLX hotel room booking form, or online at the respective hotel's group reservation site for euroPLX, will receive a €80 discount from the entire accommodation bill when checking out at departure.

Details, rates, and accommodation discount voucher conditions are given on the booking form or online at the respective hotel's group reservation site for euroPLX. Room reservations are made by registrants directly with the hotel.

Privacy Policy

RauCon would like its customers to be aware that their personal data provided are processed and used to the degree necessary for rendering and invoicing services. For purposes of payment processing RauCon may, if necessary, transfer a customer’s payment information to RauCon's local bank. A customer’s data will not be made available to third parties, however.

After termination of a customer’s relationship with RauCon, the customer’s online data will be deleted immediately. All hardcopy will be deleted after the legal period stipulated by tax and commercial regulations has expired.

Customers are entitled to being informed of their own data stored in RaiCon's data bases free of charge, and may request this data to be corrected, blocked or deleted if needed. For questions related to the collection, processing or use of personal data or for information about, correction, blocking or deletion of data please contact Dr. Norbert Rau.

Subscribers to the newsletter "euroPLX Business Developer" as well as registrants of a euroPLX Meeting give consent to their email address being used by RauCon for the purposes of e-mailing the newsletter and of communicating the necessary details for the preparation of the respective euroPLX Meeting. This consent may be withdrawn at any time.
