euroPLX 44 Barcelona was attended by company delegates from 37 countries. Of these, 25% attended a euroPLX Meeting for the first time.

The leading partnering event for pharma and biopharma business development delivered an average of 22.9 pre-scheduled one-on-one negotiations per participating company on two conference days, in addition to numerous appointments which were scheduled on site.

The interest of the participating pharma and biotech companies was focused on patented (66%) and generic drugs (81%) as well as biosimilars (20%), and the growing interest in preclinical and early clinical stages reflected the presence of biotech and research specialist companies. Nevertheless, approved drugs attracted most of the interest, in particular prescription drugs.
