Companies From Five Continents Attended euroPLX 45 Lisbon

Cascais/Lisbon, 1 March 2011. Delegates of more than 150 pharmaceutical companies from 34 countries and five continents convened at euroPLX 45 Lisbon on February 28 and March 1, 2011, in Cascais, a picturesque coastal town near Lisbon, Portugal.

In one of the most productive and international business development conferences for the pharmaceutical industry worldwide, companies had an average of almost 25 pre-scheduled one-to-one business negotiations in addition to numerous ad hoc meetings for which euroPLX provides several opportunities.

euroPLX is exclusively designed for the support of pharma and biopharma executives who are in charge of their companies' business development. It is a focused business development event which excludes non-core audience such as investors, headhunters, government people, etc., a strategy which contributes to the highest number of scheduled one-on-one negotiations in the industry.

At euroPLX 45 Lisbon almost 80% of the delegates were interested in deals involving therapies for disorders of the central nervous system, a focus which was formed by the registrants themselves, supported by the "Dynamic Partnering Focus". This is a system which evaluates and displays all registrants' collaboration interests, forming a distinct focus for each euroPLX conference.

euroPLX stands for a continuous business development process and the next event will be euroPLX 46 Vienna (Austria), to be held on May 30 and 31, 2011, in the Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen, Vienna.
