The Most Important Business Platform for Many Life Science Companies

Dielheim/Heidelberg 9 January 2012. euroPLX has quietly developed into the most important business development event for many life science companies, if measured by how often companies have had delegates at this partnering conference.

From 1995 to 2011 more than 100 companies attended from 10 to 33 euroPLX Meetings. Among those that have had delegates at more than 30 euroPLX Meetings were Dr. Kade Pharm. Fabrik GmbH, Ethypharm S.A., Kwizda Pharma GmbH, ratiopharm GmbH, Sinclair Pharmaceuticals Ltd., and Technology Catalysts International. Majors such as Bayer Schering Pharma AG, Merck KGaA, Novartis, Nycomed, Sanofi-Aventis, or Teva Pharmaceutical Industries all attended more than 10 euroPLX Meetings.

Says Dr. Norbert Rau, co-initiator of euroPLX: "For us, the success of a service is measured by how often a customer keeps returning for this service. euroPLX has a tremendous track record of returning customers, more than any other partnering event of the life science industry."

The three euroPLX Meetings in 2011 which were held in Lisbon, Vienna, and Geneva, facilitated almost 10,000 pre-scheduled face-to-face appointments in addition to appointments which were scheduled ad hoc during the meetings.

Since 1995 almost 1,200 companies from 66 countries have attended euroPLX Meetings and each euroPLX Meeting sees companies from an average of 36 countries, making it one of the most international partnering events of the life science industry.

In 2012, euroPLX Meetings will be held in Lisbon (Portugal, 5/6 March), Istanbul (Turkey, 4%5 June), and Sorrento (Italy, 5/6 November).
