euroPLX 48 Lisbon Schedules 4,000 Face-to-Face Meetings
Cascais/Lisbon, 6 March 2012. Business development delegates of 170 companies from 36 countries convened in Cascais, near Lisbon, Portugal for over 4,000 targeted business negotiations around pharma and life science product developments, licensing, marketing or similar issues.
An average of almost 24 pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments per attending company on 5 and 6 March 2012 supports the reputation of euroPLX Meetings as being more productive than most other partnering conferences.
"Partnering event productivity is measured by business negotiations per company, not by the total number of scheduled face-to-face meetings. The total number does not say anything about the benefit for the customer. Large events brag about 10,000 scheduled appointments, but for each of the 2,000 or so participating companies this is a meager 5 appointments!" says Dr. Norbert Rau, one of the initiators and organisers of euroPLX.
